Lecture on “Vincent van Gogh” from the program “Between Paintings and Scenes: Bridging with Humanities”

Following the “Modigliani” lecture last week, I gave a second lecture yesterday to the citizens of Yangju as part of the program Between Paintings and Scenes: Bridging with Humanities,” hosted by Yangju City.

 

The theme of the second lecture was “Vincent van Gogh,” part of my signature content titled “The Great and Immortal Painters’ Stories”, which I have presented in numerous online/offline lectures and publications.

 

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Yangju City, Yangju City Art Studio, and all the citizens of Yangju who attended.

Lecture on “Amedeo Modigliani” from the program “Between Paintings and Scenes: Bridging with Humanities”

Yesterday, I gave the first lecture to the citizens of Yangju City as part of the program Between Paintings and Scenes: Bridging with Humanities,” hosted by Yangju City.

 

The theme of the first lecture was “Amedeo Modigliani,” part of my signature content titled “The Great and Immortal Painters’ Stories”, which I have presented in numerous online/offline lectures and publications.

 

The second lecture, scheduled for next week, is as follows:

Upcoming Art Lecture hosted by Yangju City

I'm excited to share that I’ll be giving two special art lectures this month as part of the “Between Paintings and Scenes: Bridging with Humanities” program hosted by Yangju City.


About the Program:

1. Reinterpret the artistic worlds of Jang Wook-jin and Min Bok-jin through art and film, cultivating a deeper sense of humanities in everyday life.

2. Encourage participants to create their own narratives through visual arts, using painting and film as central themes.

 

The program brings together art and film professionals and visual artists to:

 

1. Expand creative thinking through visual arts

2. Support participants in discovering the joy of artistic expression

3. Offer hands-on experiences that deepen understanding of the artistic process

 

My Lectures:

Under the theme “Visual Arts – The Power of Cinema”, I’ll be presenting two sessions based on my signature lecture series and book “The Great and Immortal Painters’ Stories.”
