"After the film ends, some stories remain as music."
What happens when a film ends, but its emotions remain?
Sometimes a story continues in our minds long after the final scene
has disappeared.
This idea is at the heart of my musical project “Music After the
Film.”
For Episode 13, I chose “500 Days of Summer,” the 2009
romantic comedy-drama directed by Marc Webb.
Rather than recreating the film's original soundtrack, I wanted to
approach the film from a completely different direction.
The answer became “After Summer, Before Goodbye.”
