How are you?
The 5th place I would like to
introduce for this week is Tokyo Fuji Art Museum in Hachiōji,
Tokyo, Japan.
Tokyo Fuji Art Museum was founded in 1983 by Daisaku Ikeda in Hachiōji, Tokyo, Japan. The museum's collection comprises approximately 30,000 pieces of Japanese, Eastern and Western artworks of various periods and cultures, from paintings, prints, photographs, sculptures, ceramics and lacquerware to armor, swords and medallions.

Of particular noteworthy is its outstanding collection
of Western oil paintings spanning 500 years from the Renaissance to the Baroque
and postmodernist eras as well as its exceptional collection of photographic
masterpieces.
Under the motto of "A museum
creating bridges around the world," the museum sponsors various
exhibitions that introduce the world's best artistic treasures to Japan. For
example, the museum's international art exhibitions have introduced masterpieces
from the world's most famous museums, including the Louvre in Paris and the
Palace Museum of Beijing, to the Japanese public.
In addition, at the request of
governments and cultural organizations around the world, the museum has loaned
Japanese and Eastern art and Western paintings to museums around the world.
The works of Modigliani currently
in the possession of Tokyo Fuji Art Museum are as follows.
