How are you?
I uploaded my seventh music broadcast on “Spoon Radio.” I am presenting
music in the order of the lectures I conducted at the “ACJ Music Academy,”
which introduced various genres of music that I previously taught.
The theme of this week's seventh broadcast is “African music”, fused with various popular music genres such as Afro-fusion, Afrobeat, Afropop, Afro-jazz, and Afro-Cuban, among the world music genres. It can also be found in the music of globally renowned musicians, such as Sting, Tracy Chapman, Paul Simon, Santana, Toto, and Ry Cooder of Buena Vista Social Club.
In this broadcast, I introduced pop music that are familiar to us, tracing its roots back to original African music, the characteristics of African music by region, and the musical characteristics of each country, along with the representative musicians for each country.
