Modigliani's New Novel Submitted to the “Amazon Kindle Storyteller 2025 Writing Competition”

Of the two Modigliani novels I have written, following the previously published English edition "Modigliani: Another Portrait" (Korean title: "모딜리아니: 또 다른 삶의 초상") on Amazon, the second book, "In the Shadow of Eternity: The Story of Modigliani & Jeanne," has now been completed and submitted as an entry to the "Amazon Kindle Storyteller 2025 Writing Competition" hosted by Amazon UK. It is also available for sale in both eBook and paperback formats on Amazon worldwide, including Amazon US.

This novel is a humble tribute to the sublime and heartbreaking love between the Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani and his last muse, Jeanne Hébuterne. It traces the tender arc of their brief yet incandescent love story, beginning in 1917 when they first met, and ending in 1920 with their tragic and untimely deaths.

 

This story is not only about tragedy. It is about transcendence. It is about love so radiant, so all-consuming, it becomes eternal. To all who have ever loved deeply, and lost deeply—this story is for you.
