What if a great painting could be heard as music?
This question is at the heart of my ongoing creative project, “Melodies
on Canvas – A Journey Through Art & Sound.”
For the 19th journey in this series, I chose one of Eugène
Delacroix’s most celebrated works, “Liberty Leading the People.”
When I look at this painting, I do not see only a historical scene.
I see movement, tension, courage, uncertainty, sacrifice, color and, above all,
a powerful sense of human aspiration.
And I began to wonder:
What would this painting sound like?
That question became the starting point for my new original
composition, “The Spirit of Freedom.”
