The film won the Best Film at the
Silver Condor Awards in 1948 and was one of the main entries at the 2nd Locarno
Film Festival in Switzerland.
In addition, the Argentine Academy
of Cinematography Arts and Sciences awarded the film for the Best Film, Best
Director, and Best Actor.
