What Does Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss” Sound Like? | “Golden Embrace”

"Every masterpiece has a melody. Welcome to Melodies on Canvas."

Have you ever looked at a painting and imagined what it might sound like?

For me, some paintings seem to contain a melody of their own.

Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss” is one of those paintings.

The luminous gold, the embrace of two lovers, the flowers, the intricate patterns and the dreamlike atmosphere all seem to exist outside ordinary time.

I wanted to translate that feeling into music.

The result is “Golden Embrace.”

It is the 15th musical journey in my ongoing project:

Melodies on Canvas – A Journey Through Art & Sound
