New Modigliani Novel Now Available on Amazon

I’m pleased to announce that the English version of my new novel, currently available in South Korea as an e-book and audiobook, is now being sold worldwide as both an e-book and paperback under the title “Modigliani: Another Portrait” on Amazon, including Amazon US.

This book is based on an alternative scenario: what if the real-life events that shaped Modigliani’s life had never happened? For example, what if his family hadn’t gone bankrupt when he was born and had remained wealthy? What if he hadn’t suffered from tuberculosis? What if he hadn’t turned to alcohol and drugs? And what if he had never met Jeanne? This novel imagines how Modigliani’s life might have unfolded under circumstances completely opposite to the ones he actually experienced.

Modigliani's New Novel on Sale

How are you?

J Books & Media has released Korean version of one e-book and two audiobooks.

 

The newly released titles include the e-book and audiobook of Modigliani's novel "Modigliani: Another Portrait," and the audiobook of Modigliani's novel "Dedo, Modi, Modigliani," which was previously published as a paperback and e-book.

"Modigliani: Another Portrait" is a book based on a hypothetical scenario, exploring what Modigliani's life might have been like, if the events that actually occurred to him had not taken place. In other words, if Modigliani's family had not gone bankrupt and remained wealthy when he was born, if he had not suffered from tuberculosis, if he had not abused alcohol and drugs, if he had not met Jeanne, etc.

 

"Dedo, Modi, Modigliani" is a novel based on factual data about Modigliani's life from his birth to death.

Crowdfunding Project Opening for “Making Artworks Catalogues of Claude Monet”

Today I would like to tell you my good news.

 

The project proposal I submitted to Wadiz Co, a representative crowdfunding company in South Korea, was finally approved, and my funding project was opened on Wadiz.

 

The title of the project is “Making Artworks Catalogues of Claude Monet” and the purpose of the project is to make catalogues of the French Impressionist artist Claude Monet.

 

Monet's catalogues to be produced this time is one of artists’ catalogues that I have produced so far, and I came to know Wadiz while considering the production by my own cost.

 

Looking at Wadiz's information, I learned that it is a representative crowdfunding company in South Korea, so I thought of trying to make the Monet's catalogues through crowdfunding with Wadiz.

 

The catalogues are planned to be produced in two volumes, one is a collection of Monet's general paintings and the other is a collection of only Monet's series paintings.

 

I am sure that the catalogues of Monet to be produced this time will be precious and valuable books for those who love art and especially for those who love Monet.

“ART: STORIES, PAINTINGS AND MORE… ”: Participation in Amazon Book Contest and Launching Sales on Amazon

 

How are you?

Today, I would like to share one of my good news with you.

As previously informed, after a lot of hard work, I completed writing my new book and launched sales on Amazon at the same time as participation in Amazon KDP Pen to Publish Contest yesterday.

This book is an English version and the title of the book is “ART: STORIES, PAINTINGS AND MORE…”

As for the contents of the book, I selected forty paintings among which I have introduced in “Interesting Art Stories” on SNS with more stories.

My new book has started selling as both Kindle Edition and Paperback on Amazon, and information on each style can be reviewed at below links.

Register as a writer on Naver People Selected by Naver Corp.

 

How are you?

Today I would like to share with you good news that happened to me this week.

A few days ago, I was registered as a writer on Naver People selected by Naver Corp.

For a brief introduction to Naver Corp., it is a global ICT company, providing South Korea’s number one search portal "NAVER". In 2018, NAVER corp. was ranked as the 9th most innovative company by Forbes and top 6th Future 50 company by Fortune magazine.

Therefore, to be selected as Naver People in South Korea is a great honor and also recognized as an official expert in the selected field.

Since I published my first book in May 2017 to start my career as a writer, I have been steadily writing books for over 5 years, and it seems to have come to fruition. In the meantime, I have published 5 books at Iseowon, 15 books at J Books and Media, and 8 books (in English version) at Amazon.

I am currently writing my 21st book (excluding the English version at Amazon), and the title of the book is “Interesting Art Stories”, which is being currently serialized on my SNS and receiving good responses. It is likely that the book will be published next month, in October.

I will publish Korean and English versions at the same time, and sell Korean version at Kyobo Books, Aladin, and Yes24 in South Korea, and English version at Amazon.

Once again, I feel great joy and gratitude for being registered as Naver People, and I will continue to write good books as a writer.

Retrieval of Publishing Rights for “The Great and Immortal Painters’ Stories” vol. 1~5

 

How are you?

Today, I would like to post a story regarding my books.

The publishing rights for my books, “The Great and Immortal Painters’ Stories”, volumes 1~5, published by Book Publisher “Iseowon” in 2017, are expired in this month, May 2022. Thus, J Books & Media, my publisher will retrieve the publishing rights from the publisher in June 2022.

“The Great and Immortal Painters’ Stories” are books about the artists Modigliani, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Monet, and Picasso, introducing their lives and anecdotes, the films featuring them, and the music that goes with their lives and works.

Due to the retrieval of the publishing rights, the contents of the books will be updated and republished by J Books & Media as soon as possible.

For your reference, among these artists, you can also experience Modigliani, Van Gogh, and Monet in my lecture along with Klimt at Gangnam Branch, Shinsegae Academy in June 2022, and please refer to the link below for related information.
