Summary
“Goya's Ghosts” is a 2006 biographical drama film, directed by Miloš Forman, which was his final directorial film before his death in 2018 and co-written by him and Jean-Claude Carrière. Starring Javier Bardem, Natalie Portman and Stellan Skarsgård, it was filmed in Spain during late 2005 and was produced in both Spanish and English. The historical setting of the film is true, but the story about Goya trying to protect a model is fictional, like the characters Brother Lorenzo and the Bilbatúa family.
